Brooksville, FL – August 6, 2025 – Rusco, a trusted leader in water filtration and control solutions since 1983, is unveiling a new lineup of products designed to make managing water simpler, smarter, and more effective. With these additions, Rusco builds on its legacy of dependable sediment filtration, giving customers more ways to protect their water and systems — all from a name they already trust.
“We’ve always been focused on making water simpler for our customers,” said Neal White, President & CEO of Rusco. “This lineup is about giving people even more ways to solve their water challenges—without adding complexity or sacrificing quality. If you already trust us for sediment filtration, now you can turn to us for even more.”

This new era begins with smarter water testing. For professionals who need quick, accurate answers in the field, the WaterLink® Spin Touch® DW delivers lab-quality results in minutes. Its intuitive touchscreen and sealed reagent discs eliminate the mess and guesswork of traditional methods, helping technicians make confident treatment decisions on the spot.
For households seeking advanced point-of-entry protection, the new POE1+ Whole-House Filtration System combines power and performance in a single solution. Beyond improving taste and odor, it tackles lead, PFAS, chloramine, and other emerging contaminants, offering peace of mind throughout the home.
To keep water systems running smoothly, Rusco has also introduced two new control valves. The Rusco APV – Automatic Ball Valve automates water flow wherever it’s needed — whether flushing a Spin-Down filter, managing irrigation, or filling livestock troughs. And for applications that demand precision and durability, the RuscoR™ Ceramic Core Ball Valve offers exceptional chemical resistance and smooth, reliable operation thanks to its advanced ceramic components.
Together, these products reflect Rusco’s commitment to practical innovation — giving customers more ways to solve water challenges without having to look anywhere else.
For customers who already rely on Rusco for Spin-Down filters, the new lineup makes it even easier to get what they need from a single dependable source. Alongside sediment filtration products, they can now order our Heavy Duty Filters, drinking water systems, advanced whole-house solutions, and flow control valves — all supported by Rusco’s proven quality, responsive service, and expertise. This expanded offering helps professionals and homeowners streamline their purchasing process, save time, and ensure their entire water system is supported by a knowledgeable, reliable partner.

Maintaining a clean filter is the best way to extend the life of your Rusco filter. In some cases, where a filter is sitting in direct sunlight, a Rusco Sun Shield® may be helpful to prevent the build-up of algae. A Sun Shield® is an easy and cost-effective way to help battle the build-up of algae.
A chemical-resistant cover is also plastic and see-through and has a yellowish tint instead of being clear. This particular cover comes standard on hot water filters designed to withstand water temperatures of up to 220 degrees Fahrenheit. These covers can also withstand different chemical elements that the standard spin-down or sediment trapper filter cannot filter without chemical corrosion.

Sediment in water can cause a lot of problems throughout your home. Previously we covered how it can have a negative impact on your health and shorten the life of your hot water heater if not removed. Today we’ll cover how it can affect your shower heads as well as other bathroom fixtures and how Rusco filters are applied to remedy the situation.
